Dark_Awakeining [Box-Killa]

"Love the flow."

date: September 1, 2009

A mix of Ambient and Classical with the piano addition... me likey. The beats and melodies made this audio really swell to listen to. If it had a little more action, suspense, epicness... then I would of added it to my Ipod. For some odd reason, this song is telling me a story. One part would be from the past and one part would be from the future since this song does change here and there. It's pretty sick and I enjoyed hearing this. Nice going Box-Killa! :D

:D ME likey to. Yeah I love it when I can create a good melody, sometimes in can take weeks to think of one, this time it took 20 mins or so. :D I suppose It needs some continuing on, maybe a key change and a progression change. Hehe, i think if u removed the drums, you could think of a story :D Thanks for the kick ass vote and review! D: PEace

DZK - Walk Backwards

"Holy shit... this is pro!"

date: March 19, 2009

Damn, one of the best rap audio's I've heard in quite awhile. This was really fresh. Loved the lyrics, beats, and motions that were put into this. Love the effort as well. I like how the audio tells a story, a true story I may say. Damn, I'm definitely putting this on my Ipod. I liked this a lot. Nice going WarLab!

"Damn... I'm hooked to this audio."

date: December 31, 2008

When I get my Ipod sometime in the future, this song is definitely going on it. Love the rhythm and funk this audio has to offer. The clarity was sweet and I seriously love how the acoustic guitar sounded, not to mention the funkiness as well. The funk kinda reminded me of a soundtrack in the game "Driver" for the PS1. Once the audio gets to 1:55, it just gets even better. I just like that part the most. Well, anyways, I loved hearing this audio overall. Nice going Hyper-Freak! :D

Author's Response:

Your review is really flattering, though I do want to point out that while an acoustic version is likely going to come around, this whole thing is electric guitar. The whole tune started as an acoustic piece, but quickly got changed to full-ensemble electric.

Anyway, thanks for your vote and kind words!

"Weird title, good audio."

submission: <|>: Qua (2008)

Loved some of the riff's and drum sounds that were used in this audio. The guitar and drums felt quite strong. I was feeling the melody in this audio, even though it doesn't sound like any melody was involved. This could be used during a fighting scene of a video game or something. The ending was weird. I think you just added that for the hell of it. Anyways, nice return and I plan to see more from you in the future Tritone! :D

Author's Response:

Thanks dude! I take exception to the idea that there is no melody though! :) I like the melody!

The ending is definitely weird and abrupt. I first heard an ending like that in a song by Planet X, a short-lived progressive metal band led by Derek Sherinian. I thought it was very cool, and I originally wrote this song shortly after hearing it, so I took that opportunity (or inspiration) to incorporate it into this song too. But I think it fits the dark and mysterious vibe I was going for in the song. I do understand though why it's not a favorite ending of many listeners. I'm hoping it will grow on people.

Thanks again buddy!

"Nice calm audio with some funky techno."

date: October 21, 2008

The melodies were the things that made me interested in this audio. The techno beats were a nice addition and I see you kept adding on different types of sounds to keep the audio going smoothly. The ending gave me a smile. It sounded like something from an NES game when it says, "Game Over". Anyways, this was different from you other remixes and styles you're used to using. Nice change and nice going Chronamut! :D

"Strong, really strong."

date: September 4, 2008

Even thought this was short and a demo, this was really good. I would of liked this audio to be finished. I like all the add-on's of beats and rhythms that came into play. Sounded quite hardcore and strong. I actually had my head moving side to side to this audio. It's that catchy. I really enjoyed hearing this audio. Awesome Work Chesh! :D

"Fucking addicted hardcore awesomeness."

date: August 2, 2008

Damn, the BPM's in this audio is incredible. I really enjoyed hearing the hardcore, fast pace beats that you were producing in this audio. Right when it got to the 0:15 marker, thing started to get even better. Also, I loved the fact that this audio has voices in it. Saying GO GO GO over and over again was a nice addition to the audio. I really enjoyed hearing this overall ParagonX9!

"Best audio you've ever made ParagonX9!"

date: August 2, 2008

Damn, this was some hardcore shit. I was literally bopping my head to this every time a strong beat came up. I actually heard this audio on Youtube and it was funny when it was mixed with the video. It as basically a mother raving when she put something in the refrigerator. Anyways, love the speed of the sounds and the amount of drum and beat sounds. This definitely souds like something you would hear from a rave. Nice going ParagonX9! :D

"Really catchy...."

date: July 12, 2008

I kinda enjoyed hearing all the cute tones that wee being produced. this audio had a really happy, catchy type of feeling towards it. This loop really loops perfectly, you're right about that. About it sounding in a video game, I can't really tell since I never really played a game this happy before. But hopefully, you'll get this audio to a Newgrounds Flash Game. Nice going HouseMasta! :D

"10/10! Nuff Said..."

date: July 12, 2008

Right from the start, I got hooked to this audio. The beats, rhythms, and everything else mixed was purely awesome to hear. The melodies in the 0:50 was really epic. Just hearing everything in this audio mixed perfectly was awesome. This must of took a lot of work to do. This probably has to be one of the craziest Sonic remixes I've ever heard on Newgrounds. This is a perfect remix of a Sonic song. 10/10 for you HouseMasta! :D
